About little ol' me
So who am I, and why do you care? Good question. I'm Ben Turner, an Anglo-American UK based user experience and web designer. Most of my days are spent working for a large retail site. Where ultimatley I try to get more people to buy more stuff and be happier about it.
My main aim for this site is to waffle a bit and pass on what I learn about how people use the web. And secondly it's a place to show off my drawings and pictures. Whether they're work related or for pleasure.
My background
Since I was a kid drawing comic strips I always knew I wanted to do something creative. And after a brief spell doing engineering at the University of Miami I traded the calculator for brushes and finished my degree in fine art. Although in reality, I only really swopped one computer for another, as I took up photography and found out what Photoshop 3 had to offer.
One thing has lead to another over the years but I think ultimatley, my love of design, programming and pressing buttons, was always going to lead me into web design.
